Christmas in July Gift 2

This gift was sooo easy to make!  I found these platters at junk stores for next to nothing.

Washed them up real good, rubbed them down with white vinegar, let them dry and painted two coats of the chalkboard paint.

Waalaaa!

So CUTE!  Just add what ever sentiment you would like and a couple magnets and you have a little message board :-)

Mandie - what a great craft! I think even I could make those and I'm paint-challenged. Thanks for sharing such a good idea.

Mandie,
I just made one of these. I have a pic of it with some paper trees I made in my post of my Craft Room Summer tree....

Hugs,
Deb

Hi Mandie! Oh, I love this and I know it's an easy craft but I've never done it! I think you've inspired me. I hope you'll pop over and see my Christmas in July post.

Mandie,
Thanks so much for participating in the Celebration of Christmas in July over at A Debbie-Dabble Christmas!
It was such fun, wasn't it?
I will be leaving the links on my Side Bar until October.
Hopefully, next year I will be organized enough to do a Christmas in July Linky Party!
Thanks again!

Hugs,
Debbie

Love these. I love how you have set up the table for the project. I have a few pieces I'd like to do this with. I am new follower!

Hi Mandie,
These are a great idea. I'm thinking of making some tree ornament using chalkboard paint. Love what you did.
