It's The Most Wonderful Time of The Year...

I hope that this post finds all of my Christmas buddies in pure bliss :-).  It is the most wonderful time of the year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

End table in the living room

I have been so very busy.  The house is all decorated for the holiday and guess what?  I decided that we needed to have white baseboards and windows!  Boy was I a silly goose for wanting to do that at this time of year ;-).  I didn't realize what can of worms I was opening when I suggested that we do this.  In taking down the doors to paint the door jams we realized how off white the doors looked compared to the jams so we put a coat of paint on both sides to make them all match... all 9 of them!  That doesn't even include closet doors in bedrooms and the master bath, which we will do later.  When we were all done with that we decided we needed to paint the walls to match the dining room... But before we painted the walls hubby wanted to fix a part in the ceiling that had cracked, do a little touch up.  It doesn't match the rest of the ceiling, so guess what???  We get to paint the ceiling now!  And you know what makes an elf blush??  My wonderful in-laws called and are going to come down for a much wanted stay... Friday!  I am NOT going to panic though because...

Dining room.

It's the most wonderful time of the year!!!!  I may be a little off my rocker but I wont let this season pass me by without enjoying every bit of it :-)

Christmas tree in living room.  Santa came by for a visit and hot cocoa ;-)

To start December off with Christmas cheer, it snowed!  It was a beautiful snow with huge flakes falling.  It snowed throughout the night and into the morning.

Isn't he sweet?!  Hubby and Wildflower made him :-)  He is missing his magic hat and scarf, but I still think I saw him winking at the snow lady across the street!

I grabbed my camera to try and capture how beautiful the snow was when it was coming down.

These are the lights lining the driveway

I love the way Jesus, Mary, and Joesph are snuggled together in the "O".

Are you running around still shopping?  We did a little today and it was sooo crazy busy out!  I love it so much but find myself wanting to put a little happy dust in some people's hair, lol.  If your out and about be careful and remember to encourage people out there with kindness and Christmas cheer!

Merry Christmas to you and yours!!!

Hi Mandie,
I painted all our woodwork white a few years years ago. It took me a year to do it. Glad it's done and oh, does it look nice!
That is a cute snowman! Thank you for stopping by Christmas Pudding. I do love Christmas and the more Christmas blogs, the merrier! I'm your newest follower. Have a delightful day.

Blessings,
Sandi

Mandie,
Everything looks stunning!! LOVE the white against the deep rich color of your walls in the background!!
Gorgeous and the trees are beautiful!!
I had to chuckle as I read this post. I call it the "might as well's" or snowball effect. Once you start a project, you might as well do this and might as well do that and it keeps getting bigger like a snowball rolling down a hill.
Am I not right??? LOL!!

Hugs,
Debbie

We've been so frantically busy that our Christmas tree isn't even up yet! Going to remedy that tomorrow. Thank goodness for the weekend.

Love your photos, and good luck with all the painting! Our trim is looking a bit grungy and could use a refresh, too, but it won't be until at least January.
