I am keepin my Christmas spirit alive with the "Embers" Scentsy cubes my sister-in-law gave me over the holiday weekend. Thanks Melissa!
It is the girls last day of school and summer is in full swing. The temps are in the 90's all week long, shewwwyy. It is quite the opposite of a winter's day. But we have the pool up and friends over to make the day more fun.
I loved hearing what made you smile. So many sweet people out there love Christmas :) So, how do you keep your Christmas spirit alive in this heat? I will be taking my Gooseberry Patch Christmas books outside to sit by the pool and enjoy :-) with an ice cubed glass of water.
Merry Christmas to you and a happy summer too!!

I love this! I will come back many times to get my Christmas fix. :)
Your plan to read Christmas books by pool side with iced water sounds perfect. I keep John 3:16 in my heart.
How nice that you have a pool to keep cool in the hot temps. I don't like those 90 degree days! I can't believe it's this hot already and summer isn't even here yet! Whew! Thanks for visiting and enjoy your summer.
Hi Mandie! It's been hot in my neck of the woods too! I have been doing the same taking my Christmas books out and reading them while enjoying the sun. I love thinking of Christmas in the summer. I sometimes think the anticipation for it is almost better then the actual day!!
Have a great day!
Heather
