The love of books

I love books.  I love the look of them, I love to hold them, I love the smell of them, and I love to read them!  Yesterday we ran to the book store so I could look for Serena Thompson's new Christmas book.  You know, the Farm Chicks?!

I asked my mama for it for Christmas.  I am so excited about this book that I wanted to flip through it at the book store but it was OUT!  Sold out!  That is okay, while I was looking for that particular book I came across so many beautiful books...

This book is beautiful!  It is loaded with some of the most wonderful recipes.

And this book is beautiful the whole way through it... *sigh*

I really want this book!  It has some of the sweetest felt crafts in it.  Book love, that is what I have.  I love and cherish books so much.  I got to thinking... I would love a book made by the girls for me and for hubby.  Wouldn't is be so sweet if the girls made me a book by themselves and wrote in it with their own words and hand writing?  They can scrapbook some of their favorite pictures and write sweet sentiments of favorite memories or what ever their hearts desire.  And better yet... what if they made a book for grandparents!  I know grandma would LOVE it.  Oh the ideas, I must get them busy, lol.
